Since my departure to New York and the beginning of my year as an au pair is not far away anymore (3 weeks, omg!!), I thought about how I could write down my feelings, experiences and just everything that comes to my mind :)
Writing a blog is the best way I think- it's easier than writing a diary & I can show the world what I'm doing. Doing a vlog, well I don't think anybody would watch. I know that not many people will read my blog right here, but it's kind of fun!
I write this blog to show my friends and family what will be going on when I'm in the States but mainly for me and to have a little "documentation" that I can read again and again in the future and which will remind me of my time. And maybe some others lose their way to my blog :D
For those who don't know who I am: I'm Lena - 19 years old - German - just graduated - and I will spent my year as an au pair in Philadelphia. I cannot wait to get there!
I write in English because I really am in love with this language ♥
I'm not a native speaker so sorry about any mistakes I make ;)
I'm still trying to figure everything out right here..
But soon I will write about the few last days I'm here in good old Germany.
